The new Süper Lig season opens on 14 August: the first matchweek is confirmed

The countdown to the Süper Lig has officially begun. The 2026-27 season, contested by 18 teams, opens with Galatasaray vs Çorum FK at RAMS Park at 21:30 on Friday 14 August. Under the Turkish Football Federation's calendar, the first half of the season closes with the matches of 18-21 December 2026; the season ends on 23 May 2027.
The opening round, day by day: on Saturday 15 August at 19:00, Konyaspor vs Çaykur Rizespor and Kasımpaşa vs Trabzonspor; at 21:30, Gaziantep FK vs Corendon Alanyaspor and Gençlerbirliği vs Fenerbahçe. On Sunday 16 August at 19:00, Başakşehir vs Kocaelispor; at 21:30, Amed Sportif Faaliyetler vs Erzurumspor FK and Beşiktaş vs Eyüpspor. Samsunspor vs Göztepe closes the round on Monday evening, 17 August.
The derby calendar is confirmed too: Fenerbahçe vs Beşiktaş in matchweek 4, Trabzonspor vs Galatasaray in week 6, Trabzonspor vs Beşiktaş in week 8, Galatasaray vs Fenerbahçe in week 9, Beşiktaş vs Galatasaray in week 13 and Fenerbahçe vs Trabzonspor in week 15.
The season opener overlaps with European qualifying: Fenerbahçe play the Champions League third qualifying round return in Graz three days before the league starts; Beşiktaş play their Europa League return on 13 August and host Eyüpspor three days later.
