Galatasaray's Champions League opponents confirmed: Barcelona and PSG come out of the draw
Galatasaray, who qualified directly as Süper Lig champions, learned their league-phase opponents in the Monaco draw: Barcelona, PSG, Aston Villa, Sporting Lisbon, Feyenoord, Lille, Stuttgart and AEK Athens.
Having won the Trendyol Süper Lig and qualified directly for the UEFA Champions League, Galatasaray did not have to play a play-off round. Their opponents were confirmed in the league-phase draw at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on 27 August.
Galatasaray have eight league-phase matches, four at home and four away: they host Barcelona, Aston Villa, Feyenoord and Stuttgart at RAMS Park, and travel to PSG, Sporting Lisbon, Lille and AEK Athens.
The league phase runs from 8 September 2026 to 27 January 2027. In the 36-team format the top eight advance directly to the last 16, sides placed 9th-16th and 17th-24th go into a play-off, and those below 25th are eliminated. The final is in Madrid on 5 June 2027.
