Barcelona make it four from four in LaLiga and lead the table

Barcelona under Hansi Flick have made a very strong start to the 2026-27 LaLiga season: winners of all four of their opening matches, the Catalans lead the table on 12 points. They have scored 15 goals across those four games and conceded only two.
Having beaten Rayo Vallecano 5-2 on 31 August, Barcelona won 5-0 away at Valencia at the Mestalla on 6 September. Head coach Flick described the performance as "almost perfect". Raphinha is the team's leading scorer with six goals.
Barcelona's form gives them a three-point lead over Real Madrid and Real Betis, who follow on nine points apiece. The Catalans host Feyenoord in their opening Champions League match on 9 September.
